World Book Day at Greenfield

World Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading. This year it takes place on Thursday 3 March, when our Year 3 and Year 4 children are on their residential.

So that we can all celebrate and appreciate reading together as a whole school, Greenfield Book Day will take place on Friday 11 March. Come to school dressed as your favourite book character and, if you can, bring the book with you too. We are really happy that we shall start our day with a special assembly with children’s author, Eamonn Reilly. Have a look at www.er-reilly.co.uk to find out all about him.
