Have a thought this evening for our Year 5 children, who have just returned from their Shakespeare residential at YHA Wilderhope. Situated near Wenlock Edge in Shropshire, Wilderhope Manor is a beautiful Elizabethan manor house, which was restored by John Cadbury in 1936. The children have worked with Shakespearean actors to develop their own acting skills bringing ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ to life in a series of drama workshops. I am sure the children will be keen to share their excitement and experiences of a night away from home with their classmates. Many thanks to Mrs Remmers, Miss Midgley and Mrs Hewines for accompanying the children.
