One Million Minutes

All of our classes have been taking part in the One Million Minutes reading challenge over the past week. The boys and girls have been doing their very best to read as much as possible. One little girl was so keen to read as much as possible that she had to be told to switch her light off in the night as it was keeping her brother awake! We are so pleased that four of our classes have made it onto the leaderboard of the top ten schools for the whole of the West Midlands.   Many congratulations to Louis Braille (12,810 minutes), Malala Yousafzai (12,056 minutes), Alfred Nobel (9,711 minutes) and Steve Irwin (9,126 minutes). We shall be rewarding our most voracious readers in next week’s Gold Book Assembly.
