The Spring Term has been jam packed with wonderful learning opportunities for all our children. Our long list of enrichment activities and achievements includes World Book Day, netball, dodge ball, football, brass tuition with Dudley Performing Arts, the launch of Quest in Year 3, Year 6 Boosters, sessions for G-Bees, Mission Possible and Dirty Dozen, Times Tables Rockstars, visits to Stourbridge Library and Waitrose, the Year 3 and Year 4 Ilam Hall Residential, cross country and athletics competitions, the Dudley Maths championships, the Greenfield Eisteddfod, Flair Dance at Stourbridge Dance Festival and the Best Practice Phonics Roadshow for the Department of Education.
We are very grateful to all our parents and friends in the extended Greenfield family for your involvement in the life of our school this term. The Writing and Kinetic Letters Open Sessions, which enable parents to come into classes and get involved with your children’s learning, have been very well attended. Don’t forget to come to our E-Safety Open Sessions next term. Your support for Design and Technology this term has been as generous as ever and enabled the children to achieve well in their own projects. It is always rewarding to see us all working hard together to ensure that each child fulfils his or her potential.
We would really appreciate even more involvement from parents and families in the work of our Friends of Greenfield (FroG), so it can flourish fully and provide a rich range of fundraising and social opportunities for us all to enjoy. Please do your best to get involved in our preparations for our Summer Fayre on Saturday 6 July. We would be grateful even if you can just offer an hour of your time to help set up stalls on the morning of the Fayre.
