The Spring Term has been jam packed with wonderful learning opportunities for all our children. Our long list of enrichment activities and achievements has included inter-house benchball competitions, World Book Day, Netball Club, Stay and Play with Dudley Performing Arts, the launch of the G-Bees, Year 6 Boosters, sessions for We-Do, Mission Possible and the Dirty Dozen, Times Tables Rockstars, Film Club, visits to Stourbridge library, the Year 3 and Year 4 Coalbrookdale Residential, Spelling Bee competitions, the Dudley Maths championships, the Greenfield Eisteddfod, Dizzee Dance at Stourbridge Dance Festival, tennis and our Choir on stage at Symphony Hall.
We are very grateful to all our parents and friends in the extended Greenfield family for your involvement in the life of our school this term. The Mathematics Open Sessions, which enable parents to come into classes and get involved with your children’s learning, have been well attended. Don’t forget to come to our Computing Open Sessions next term. Your support for our Design and Technology this term has been as generous as ever and enabled the children to achieve well in their own projects. It is always rewarding to see us all working hard together to ensure that each child fulfils his or her potential.
We would really appreciate even more involvement from parents and families in the work of our Friends of Greenfield (FroG), so it can flourish fully and provide a rich range of fundraising and social opportunities for us all to enjoy. Please do your best to get involved in our preparations for our Summer Fayre on Saturday 7 July. We would be grateful if you can just offer an hour of your time to help set stalls on the morning of the Fayre.
On behalf of our wonderful staff team, I wish all our children and families a relaxing Easter break. We look forward to seeing you all at 8.45 am on Monday 16 April for the start of the Summer Term.
