We are looking forward to seeing lots of our parents and families at next week’s Harvest Festival Assemblies on Thursday 11 October. Join us for Early Years and Key Stage 1 at 9.10 am and our Key Stage 2 at 2.45 pm. We are delighted that Dave Morris from Hope Church, Hanbury Hill, has kindly offered to lead both of these special events.
We are asking for Harvest Gifts in the form of a Morning Coffee Box or items to send to the Black Country Foodbank. Ideally a Morning Coffee Box should contain a jar of coffee, some tea bags, sugar and a packet or two of biscuits. We have heard recently that the Foodbank is desperate for toiletries, so please feel free to donate shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shower gel and personal care items. Other good suggestions for the Foodbank box may include UHT fruit juice, potatoes (tinned & dried), coffee, tinned veg, cooking sauces, breakfast cereals, rice, noodles, biscuits and ready meals.
We always welcome our children and families to nominate elderly relatives and neighbours, who would appreciate a Harvest Gift. If you have someone in mind, please let us know by emailing their name to firstname.lastname@example.org.
